Magnetic Separators
Magnetic Separators
Production Description
- A magnetic filter is a mechanical device with lower body and upper body sealed with an elastomeric O-ring and connected with the help of bolts and nuts. It consists of magnets arranged in a particular pattern and is held in the assembly with the help of springs. Vents are available in the inlet and outlet of the magnetic filter
Objective
- Magnetic filter is used for removal of ferromagnetic particles from the flush liquid. Produced by pipe erosion.
Advantages
- Magnetic particles separated from the liquid can a easily be removed by removing the bottom cover.
- Ease of maintenance
- No consumption of electricity owing to completely mechanical design
- High filtration efficiency
- Low space requirement because of compact design.
- Improved seal reliability
- Reduced MTBF
Technical Features
- The magnetic rod is positioned in the filter in such a way that it catches magnetic particles flowing in the medium from all sides
- Partial coarse filtration is provided by the filter element.
- Internal mesh is provided to protect the filter elements from reverse current.
- Venting of entrapped gases in the liquid is possible by using vents provided at the inlet and the outlet
